Aguascalientes (RRC): Esta madrugada, fuerzas federales mexicanas detuvieron a Armando Nava Gallegos, alias «El Charro» (también conocido como «Chirris» o «Charrín»), identificado como el jefe regional del Cártel Jalisco Nueva Generación (CJNG) en Aguascalientes.
Es considerado un operador clave de la célula conocida como «Mencho Boys», presuntamente un grupo de confianza del líder del CJNG, Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, alias «El Mencho», por lo que se le describe como un posible «brazo derecho» en la región para actividades como tráfico de drogas, extorsiones, secuestros y homicidios.
La detención fue resultado de una operación conjunta entre la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional (Sedena), la Guardia Nacional (GN) y la Fiscalía General de la República (FGR), basada en inteligencia previa.
“El Charro” fue detenido en una quinta de lujo en la calle Miguel Gerónimo, fraccionamiento Mezquite Torre Residencial, en la capital de Aguascalientes. Se catearon dos inmuebles usados como centros de operación, donde se resguardaban armas y drogas.
Junto a «El Charro» fueron detenidos dos colaboradores: José Manuel “N” y José “N”. Todos quedaron a disposición del Ministerio Público Federal para determinar su situación jurídica; «El Charro» fue trasladado a la Ciudad de México por su alto perfil.
Decomisos:
- Un rifle AK-47.
- Más de 200 cartuchos útiles.
- Equipo táctico con insignias del CJNG.
- 1 kg de cristal de metanfetamina.
- Objetos de lujo como relojes, joyas y vehículos todoterreno.
El Gabinete de Seguridad Federal (@GabSeguridadMX) confirmó el golpe en un comunicado oficial, destacando que «El Charro» era el principal generador de violencia en el estado, controlando rutas de metanfetamina y fentanilo entre Jalisco y Zacatecas, y vinculado a las «Fuerzas Especiales Cha» del CJNG en su disputa con el Cártel de Sinaloa.
«El Charro» escaló en la estructura desde 2024, actuando como enlace entre el cártel y células locales. Se le relaciona con el secuestro y asesinato del empresario Ricardo Rodríguez Zamora (dueño de una bodega de jitomates) y amenazas al alcalde de Villa Hidalgo para destituir a un jefe policiaco.
Esta captura debilita la presencia del CJNG en el Bajío, una zona estratégica para su expansión. Autoridades esperan que derive en más detenciones.
