Guanajuato (RRC): Autoridades federales y estatales de Guanajuato llevaron a cabo un cateo en un predio ubicado sobre la carretera Silao-San Felipe, en el municipio de Silao, donde aseguraron 1.6 millones de litros de combustible ilegal (huachicol), en lo que se describe como el mayor decomiso de este tipo en la historia del estado.
Este operativo representa un golpe significativo al robo y distribución ilícita de hidrocarburos, un problema crónico en la región.
El cateo fue autorizado por un juzgado federal a solicitud de la Fiscalía General de la República (FGR). Participaron la Secretaría de Seguridad y Paz de Guanajuato (SSyP), el Ejército Mexicano, la Guardia Nacional, la Secretaría de Seguridad y Protección Ciudadana (SSPC) federal y personal de seguridad de Pemex.
La clave fue una denuncia ciudadana que impulsó labores de inteligencia, lo que permitió identificar la red criminal involucrada.
Guanajuato es uno de los estados con mayor incidencia de robo de combustible en México, junto con Hidalgo, Puebla, Estado de México y Veracruz, según datos de Pemex.
Este decomiso histórico refuerza los esfuerzos contra las «economías criminales» dedicadas al huachicol, que genera pérdidas millonarias anuales y financia actividades delictivas.
