Washington (RRC): La Administración para el Control de Drogas de Estados Unidos (DEA) emitió una ficha de búsqueda contra Ismael Zambada Sicairos, alias «El Mayito Flaco», hijo del narcotraficante Ismael «El Mayo» Zambada García, cofundador del Cártel de Sinaloa.
Esta alerta forma parte de la serie #FugitiveFriday de la DEA y reactiva la orden de aprehensión existente por cargos de conspiración para distribuir sustancias controladas, relacionados con el tráfico de drogas.
La DEA lo incluyó en su lista de buscados desde 2014, acusándolo de importar grandes cargamentos de metanfetaminas desde Asia a México y luego a EE.UU. En junio de 2023, fue designado «fugitivo de la semana» por la misma agencia.
Aunque no se especifica una cantidad nueva en esta alerta, el Departamento de Estado de EE.UU. ofrece hasta 15 millones de dólares por información que lleve a la captura de líderes del Cártel de Sinaloa, incluyendo herederos como él.
¿Quien es el “Mayito Flaco”?
«El Mayito Flaco» es el tercer hijo varón de «El Mayo» Zambada (quien se declaró culpable en agosto de 2025 en Nueva York por narcotráfico, lavado de dinero y posesión de armas) y de María del Refugio Sicairos Aispuro. Desde joven, ha sido entrenado en las operaciones logísticas del cártel, asumiendo un rol clave en el tráfico internacional de drogas. Es el único hijo de «El Mayo» que permanece fugitivo; sus hermanos incluyen:
Ismael Zambada Imperial («El Mayito Gordo»): Capturado en 2019 y extraditado a EE.UU.
Vicente Zambada Niebla: Testificó contra «El Chapo» Guzmán.
Serafín Zambada Ortiz: Cumplió una condena reducida en EE.UU.
Actualmente, lidera «La Mayiza», la facción leal a los Zambada dentro del Cártel de Sinaloa, en una guerra sangrienta contra Los Chapitos (hijos de Joaquín «El Chapo» Guzmán, como Iván Archivaldo y Jesús Alfredo). Esta rivalidad ha intensificado la violencia en Sinaloa desde la detención de «El Mayo» en julio de 2024, con fracturas en alianzas como la con Fausto Isidro Meza Flores («El Chapo Isidro»).
