RRC/Washington: El Departamento de Justicia de los Estados Unidos, junto con el Departamento de Estado, ha anunciado un aumento en la recompensa por información que conduzca al arresto o condena de Nicolás Maduro, elevándola de $25 millones a $50 millones.
Este anuncio fue hecho por la Fiscal General Pam Bondi el 7 de agosto de 2025, destacando los cargos contra Maduro por presuntos delitos graves, incluyendo narcoterrorismo y conspiración para traficar grandes cargamentos de cocaína.
La medida se produce tras la disputada elección presidencial en Venezuela del 28 de julio de 2024, cuyos resultados no han sido reconocidos por Estados Unidos y otros países, que consideran que Maduro ha mantenido el poder de manera ilegítima.
