Álamo Temapache vive su peor momento en su historia.

Calles inundadas por el lodo que no baja su nivel, hacen su presencia las infecciones, los moscos, arañas peligrosas y la falta total de alimentos para la población que observa con rabia y desesperación que la ayuda no llega.
Un grupo de jóvenes radicados en la Ciudad de México con orígenes en Álamo y que tienen familia en el lugar se dieron a la tarea de recopilar ayuda para llevarla a los hermanos veracruzanos el fin de semana.
La solidaridad y generosidad fue manifiesta y pudieron llenar dos camionetas de tres y media toneladas con ropa, alimentos, desinfectantes, medicamentos para infecciones gastrointestinales y calzado, entre otros enseres.
Este, es un testimonio directo de quienes con sus propios medios lograron sortear por varias horas obstáculos en su ruta para llegar luego de su paso por varios pueblos en la sierra.
Uno de ellos, lo expresó con total contundencia al señalar que al llegar a lo que es el centro de Álamo, el panorama es desolador, pareciera que bombardearon el pueblo.
Las emociones se les agolpaban con un nudo en la garganta al tratar de recorrer las calles destruidas.
Al abrir los transportes para llamar a los pobladores para que se acercaran a recibir la ayuda, fue tal la afluencia de personas que pedían que no se olvidarán de ellos pues no han recibido la supuesta ayuda oficial.
El dolor de ver este escenario, es difícil de describir señalaron, pues no hay comida, no hay luz eléctrica, no hay agua potable y lo más doloroso, ver a los.niños con hambre y víctimas de las infecciones.
Álamo Temapache es hoy un ejemplo de la terrible realidad que viven miles de habitantes de Veracruz que están a la espera de la ayuda solidaria que les llegue de sus hermanos mexicanos para superar el trago amargo.
